INTRODUCTION
The powers
and duties of the Board members (the
Board) of the International Committee
for Animal Recording (ICAR) are set out
in the Statutes, internal regulations
and policies and are in accordance with
the current EU legislation for
non-profit associations.
This
Handbook has been prepared to help the
Board Members to carry out their duties
and responsibilities also with respect
to their legal obligations and fiduciary
duties.
The Handbook
is intended to be reviewed annually or
as required.
